How to avoid collisions in 3D-realizations for moving graphs

چکیده

If we parameterize the positions of all vertices a given graph in plane such that distances between adjacent are fixed, obtain moving graph. An L-linkage is realization 3D-space, by representing edges using horizontal bars and vertical sticks. Vertical sticks parallel revolute joints, while links connecting them. We give sufficient condition for to have collision-free L-linkage. Furthermore, provide an algorithm guiding construction linkage when fulfills condition, via computing height function (horizontal bars). In particular, prove any Dixon-1 has no Dixon-2 graphs L-linkages, where two classic families graphs.

How We Avoid Collisions With Stationary and Moving Obstacles

When moving through cluttered environments we use different forms of the same source of information to avoid stationary and moving objects. A stationary obstacle can be avoided by looking at it, registering the differential parallactic displacements on the retina around it during pursuit fixation, and then acting on that information. Such information also specifies one's general heading. A movi...

Learning to Avoid Collisions

Members of a multi-robot team, operating within close quarters, need to avoid crashing into each other. Simple collision avoidance methods can be used to prevent such collisions, typically by computing the distance to other robots and stopping, perhaps moving away, when this distance falls below a fixed threshold. While a simple method like this may skirt disaster, the results may be inefficien...

Designing Solvable Graphs for Multiple Moving Agents

Solvable Graphs (also known as Reachable Graphs) are types of graphs that any arrangement of a specified number of agents located on the graph’s vertices can be reached from any initial arrangement through agents’ moves along the graph’s edges, while avoiding deadlocks (interceptions). In this paper, the properties of Solvable Graphs are investigated, and a new concept in multi agent moti...

How to Choose Weightings to Avoid Collisions in a Restricted Penalty Logic

Penalty Logic is a natural and commonsense Knowledge Representation technique to deal with potentially inconsistent beliefs. Penalty Logic allows some kind of compensation between different pieces of information. But one of the main and less studied flaws of Penalty Logic is the influence of the choice of weights on inference: the same pieces of information can provide extremely different resul...
